TODA sells clothing and objects made with Greek artists in limited drops. insidethebox designed and built etoda.gr and its back office, from the product page to the shipping label.
TODA, The Dawn of Art, turns everyday clothes and objects into works by Greek artists and releases them in drops. insidethebox designed and built etoda.gr, the shop its customers see and the back office its team runs it from. The brand identity is TODA's own.
A drop is a small run of a few designs in a handful of sizes. A size can sell out while the rest of the design is still available, so the shop has to know its stock size by size, not per product, and say so before a customer tries to buy. Every design also comes with an artist and a story worth telling on the page.
The team behind TODA is small. Orders go out through BoxNow parcel lockers and are paid by card, and the people fulfilling them should not need a developer to ship a parcel, restock a size, or change the wording of the returns policy.
The homepage is a grid of tiles: products, the current banner and the brand's social channels, laid out by hand for each drop.
A product page carries its drop label, a photo gallery, the artist's bio and links, and a size guide that opens over the page. The size picker reads the stock of each size and disables the ones that have sold out; the server checks again when an item goes into the cart, so a size cannot be bought twice.
Checkout works without an account. A visitor enters their details, picks a BoxNow locker on a map, reviews the order and pays by card through Cardlink by Worldline. The payment is signed on the server and confirmed on the way back, and the order is marked paid only when the bank reports the charge as captured. The customer then receives a receipt in Greek, and the shop a notice of the sale.
The site also serves a link page for the brand's social profiles, tracks Meta Pixel events only after cookie consent, and publishes a product feed for Meta's catalogue.

Order summary
Aurora Tee

The product form holds everything the shop needs for a design: name, drop, price, description, photos that can be dragged into order, the size guide image, the artist's info and links, and a grid of the available sizes with a stock figure for each. The product's total stock is derived from that grid.
When an order is paid, the stock of each size in it is taken down in a single transaction, so the product page and the stock figures never disagree.
On a paid order the manager creates the BoxNow delivery request with one button and downloads the shipping label as a PDF with another, then marks the order delivered once it is on its way. The overview page shows revenue, sales, customers and products, with sales by month and the latest orders.
The texts a shop has to keep current, such as payment methods, shipping, returns, privacy and cookies, are edited in the back office with a rich-text editor and go live on save, without a deployment.
The back office grew with the shop: the artist fields, the per-size stock, the locker shipments, the labels and the content editor were each added as the team needed them, each a small change to the same codebase, and the next capability can be added the same way.

etoda.gr is live, taking card payments and shipping to parcel lockers across Greece. Both sides of the shop are one codebase on Next.js and Postgres, so a change to how stock works reaches the customer's size picker and the manager's product form at the same time.
